About Breakthrough Academy

We run a ridiculously fast-growing company that helps innovative entrepreneurs in the contracting industry grow their businesses by implementing excellent operational systems into their companies. We believe in the unlimited potential of entrepreneurship and help our Members (clients) break through barriers and take their businesses to the next level.

Our proprietary training program brings systemization to a company’s operations, develops an entrepreneur’s core business skills, and holds accountability to goals along with a clear business plan.

Breakthrough Academy is now just eight years old and growing rapidly with over 500 business owners developing in the program, and an awesome team of 40 running the show. We are leaders in the contracting industry, producing high-quality, engaging content across multiple channels and we are well on track to continue the growth of our audience.

Application Form

AS OUR SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER YOU WILL BE:

  • Developing and implementing social media strategies to drive business objectives forward while increasing brand awareness and organic engagement
  • Capturing and representing the brand and voice of the company in all assigned work while producing relatable copy and creative content
  • Creating scrolling stopping content that resonates with our audience across various social media platforms
  • Ensuring cohesion across all platforms (ie. Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, TikTok, YouTube, and more) while continuing to share educational thought leadership
  • Staying on top of the latest industry trends, utilizing existing content, and adding your own flair using Canva or other creative tools
  • Fostering meaningful interactions with our audience through comments, DMs, and a creative engagement strategy
  • Engaging with partners and audience to build trust and amplify the BTA voice
  • Working within the existing brand and keeping a keen eye for process improvement that will facilitate the creative work
  • Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on social media performance metrics to continuously optimize content and strategy
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Team to ensure social media efforts align with overarching marketing goals and campaigns
  • Managing your own workflow and timeline to produce high quality work on time and on scope

Experience Required

  • 3+ years in Social Media Management
  • Experience across all social media channels (ie. Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Experience with social media scheduling platforms (eg. Hootsuite, etc)
  • Proven QSO & sales examples
  • Experience analyzing online engagement data and reports
  • Proven ability to successfully represent a strong brand guideline and brand voice
  • Experience working within a similar audience (ideally in contracting or trades)
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Suite
  • Available for occasional travel
  • Must be located in BC or Ontario

The Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with TikTok
  • Some exposure to a CRM (ideally Zoho)
