Breakthrough Academy Member Becomes First Canadian Company To Win Prestigious Award

Breakthrough Academy Member and Calgary-based insulation contractor The Beyond Group of Companies has become the first Canadian company to win the Spray Foam Contractor of the Year Award, presented by Spray Foam Magazine. A 20-year climb

Beyond Group was built by Curt Janzen and Kevin Boschee, who started in spray foam and expanded into multiple divisions over time. The business grew from just the two of them to roughly 85 team members, with added divisions in roofing, thermal services and concrete lifting.

That kind of growth sounds impressive from the outside. From the inside, it comes with pressure.

When they joined Breakthrough Academy, they were at $4.5 million. And getting to the next step without causing more chaos, more stress and more complexity felt impossible.
