Charlie Hit His 5-Year Goals in Just 3 Years

By getting very clear on his KPIs, Charlie realized there were areas of inefficiency in his business. This led him to prepare materials and build kits for his decks and pergolas in a warehouse under controlled conditions rather than from scratch in the field.

He applied the method of KPI tracking to his online ads, which now feed a consistently high volume of leads into his business.

By constantly looking for improvements, Charlie hit his goals two years earlier than anticipated after starting Breakthrough Academy.

He is now spending a lot more time with his wife and daughter.

CHARLIE'S JOURNEY

“One of the biggest changes I made was implementing a single SOP. The standardized pre-construction meeting. Breakthrough Academy gave me the tools and the mindset to implement it and stick to it. I used the MBP File to get our Gross Profit in line.

We are now in a 7000 sq ft facility. We have trucks, tools, forklifts, storage, a lumber yard, offices, a staff room, and everything we need to really excel in the years to come. We have many new systems, including digital quoting and contract software, CoConstruct, SOPs, manufacturing and ordering systems, and of course, the MBP File.

Breakthrough Academy has helped me achieve what we now enjoy. You have not done the work for me but have given me the tools and the structure to work in the right direction and to be successful. I almost guarantee that if I had not made that life-changing decision to join the BTA community that day in 2019, we would still be struggling to wrangle a sub $2m company with low net profit.

My story shows that without the hard work carried out by the Breakthrough Academy Team, I would be in a very different place right now. What Breakthrough Academy offers really works. The whole team should be so proud of what they've achieved.
