Erin Kurbis
Systems Specialist
Erin’s entry into the business world began when she was still a university student and ran a College Pro Painters franchise. The two-year stint led to her accepting a job as a coach and helping other fledgling franchisees with their startups. Subsequently, as a general manager, she recruited, trained, and coached a team of 15-26 franchise owners across B.C. in the operation of their first businesses.
Erin joined Breakthrough Academy as a Systems Specialist to further her objective of helping entrepreneurs grow – and to work with a high-performance team. She loves collaborating with owners to create solutions that bring about operational clarity and build greater performance culture, and she views BTA as the ideal venue in which to impart her business skills.
As an enthusiast of B.C.’s great outdoors, Erin lives in Squamish and can often be found navigating mountain faces, tearing down ski slopes, or cycling and backcountry camping. Erin’s enthusiasm extends to the culinary world, and if she’s not cooking elaborate meals in her own kitchen she’s exploring the regional restaurant scene.
