Mabel understands what it takes to scale business. Prior to joining Breakthrough Academy, she was instrumental in growing both franchise educational organizations and independent schools. Two years after joining CEFA Early Learning, she was promoted to Vice Principal and involved in everything from operations to recruiting and onboarding. Driven to expand her skills, Mabel then joined Crofton House School, where she built the role of Operations Manager from the ground up, working with 175 staff, 900 students, and a community of more than 1,500 people. A unicorn in the business world, Mabel understands how to support each individual within an operation to achieve maximum success.

With all this acumen, Mabel is able to maintain a firm finger on BTA’s pulse and single out the key priorities requiring the managing director’s attention. She is proud to be an integral member of the team (it took her five months and 11 interviews to get the job!), with a keen understanding of what makes each team member tick and an unwavering commitment to lend support when and where required.

In her downtime you will find Vancouver-based Mabel recharging by exploring B.C. with her husband and best friend George; she is also super-stoked to be getting a new puppy, who will soon join them on their family adventures.
