Simon Uden

Community Relations Lead

Building meaningful relationships is in Simon’s DNA. After leaving school at 18, working in retail and then as a ski instructor and lead around the world, he experienced first hand the value and impact that connections can have. His experiences served him well throughout his career, and while at Make-A-Wish Foundation as Program Director he oversaw the granting of more than 600 wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Simon’s talent to build fast and strong partnerships and fulfil tight deadlines resulted in many significant achievements.

Simon’s role at Breakthrough Academy aligns perfectly with his philosophy to help people and make a difference. He has been essential in growing the BTA community by driving referral business. Through working with like-minded vendor partners he continuously strives to give members the best resources that will help them succeed in business and life.

British-born Simon has evolved into a true West Coaster. When he’s not building new partnerships, he’s out adventuring: shredding trails on his skis with fellow powder nuts, exploring new hiking trails with his wife Tam and puppy Billy, or jetting off on last-minute adventures to countries across the world.
