Our proprietary training program brings systemization to a contracting company’s operations, develops an entrepreneur’s core business skills, and holds accountability to goals along a clear business plan.

Breakthrough Academy is now 11 years old and growing fast, with 500+ businesses in the program and a team of 50+ people running the show. We are leaders in the contracting industry, helping companies across North America implement systems and processes that actually work.

Because of this growth, we are looking for our next Jr Communications Coordinator.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF:

• You take pride in producing work that is clean, accurate, and ready to go without hand holding
• You enjoy writing and want to get noticeably better at crafting clear, engaging communication
• You have a strong eye for formatting, layout, and how things should look
• You like working within structure, templates, and systems, and making them better
• You are highly organized and can manage multiple deadlines without letting quality 
• You are coachable, open to feedback, and genuinely want to improve your craft
• You want to learn how communications operate inside a fast growing company

IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL: 

• Draft and refine emails, posts, and communication assets from  clear briefs
• ProofreadAdapt messaging across channels while maintaining brand tone and standards
• Create on-brand visuals using existing templates and brand guidelines
• Apply  templates across formats to ensure  consistency in layout, spacing, and design
• Formatting communications so they are easy to read, visually clear, and polished
• Build, test and schedule  communications across email, community, and event platforms 
• Support rollouts for programs, campaigns, and events
• Managing multiple deliverables at once while maintaining high quality output
• Flag missing information early and communicate clearly on timelines
• Pull basic performance metrics and support reporting and performance summaries

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and engaging communications that resonate with an audience
• Proven experience drafting and refining emails, posts, and similar  content with strong attention to tone and clarity
• Strong proofreading and copyediting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail 
• Experience producing clean, on brand visual assets using templates or established brand guidelines
• Good eye for formatting, layout, and visual hierarchy to ensure content is polished and easy to read
• Hands on experience building and publishing communications within email marketing or digital platforms
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables without letting accuracy or  quality slip
