From Class Project to $4M Business and Freedom

Cooper and Janelle started CLS as a university class project, and through pure hustle grew it to be a 4M/year business.  

At that point they realized that they couldn't hustle forever, especially with young kids.

After joining Breakthrough Academy, the Leary's focused intently on implementing systems that would allow them much more free time.

Today they work almost half as much as they used to, drive a growing business, and still have time for themselves and their family.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Made massive gains in Priority Management and Block Scheduling - getting more out of their most finite resource: time.
• Conduct annual and quarterly Strategic Planning sessions.
• Staff deliverables are clear and communicated to everyone.
• They hold weekly goal setting & review meetings with their team.
• They have fully implemented the Breakthrough Academy Masterplan - tracking actual results against their desired goals.
• Completed a full rebrand and relaunched their website.

COOPER & JANELLE'S JOURNEY

“BTA has been instrumental in the development of the Leary’s business and life. During the past 4 years they've had 3 children, all while growing their business during tougher times in Alberta.

Cooper has now established himself as the CEO of the company and is out of the day-to-day. Before BTA Cooper was working long days every day of the week. Nowadays Cooper oversees the leadership team and has the space to spend on vision and strategy. Cooper has recently joined a golf course and has two days a week that he can sneak in a quick 18 holes. Before BTA and children, Cooper was an 8-handicap golfer and has now gotten that down to a 5. BTA has not only helped his business grow but helped him gain the freedom back to enjoy his time with his family.

Janelle has now established herself as the CFO of the company and has 2 direct reports. She has successfully implemented a great tech stack into the business.
